What is Price Preview in email?

Displays real-time ‘from prices’ in the subject line and main email text. With Price Preview enabled customizing the text removes the price from the subject line, but it remains in the main body of the email. This feature is automatically added without additional setup.

What does Price Preview look like in Cart abandonment emails?

The subject line and main body will look like the following. If you switch off Price Preview it will remove "From $XX" in the subject lines and main body.

Initial email subject line

Forgot something? Your dream stay still awaits from $XX

Follow-up email subject line

Act fast to avoid disappointment - our rooms won't last long from $XX

Main body (non-customizable)

Book your dream stay from $XX

What does Price Preview look like in 'Back-in-stock' emails

The subject line will appear like the following. If you switch off Price Preview it will remove "From $XX" in the subject lines and main body.

First email subject line

Limited time only: Your dream stay is back in stock from $XX

Main body (non-customizable)

Book your dream stay from $X

How to switch Price Preview on and off

Simply create a Triptease-managed email campaign for both Cart abandonment and ‘Back-in-stock’ and in the ‘Add in your email copy’ section you will see a toggle to select or deselect Price Preview in the email subject line and the main body of the next.

FAQs

What happens if I enable Price Preview but customize the subject line?

Price Preview in the subject line is currently available for default subject lines. When you customize the subject line it will automatically remove the price. It will still appear in the main body of the text.

Why does the preview email display my prices in dollars?

All preview emails will display prices in dollars, however, once your campaign has been set live and guests start receiving your emails, the currency displayed will be what the guest last saw. So if a guest views your rates in euros, it will appear as euros in the email.
