Updated over a week ago

TL;DR

  • The Itinerary Details block displays the guest's selected stay details.

  • You can customize font, color, padding, alignment, and borders.

  • Used in booking engine messages like Price Check or Price Match.

When to Use It

Use this block when you want to:

  • Display the guest's searched dates, occupancy, and stay details

  • Confirm that displayed prices match the guest’s actual itinerary

  • Add trust and personalization to booking engine messages

How It Works

The Itinerary Details block dynamically pulls in the guest’s search criteria—such as check-in/out dates, number of guests, and room configuration.

It appears in messages placed on the hotel’s booking engine and is especially useful in messages designed to compare or match prices.

When selected, the block will show a label (Itinerary) above the border outline, helping confirm you've selected the correct block.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Select the Itinerary Block

Click the area of the message that shows itinerary information. You’ll see a purple outline and a label that says Itinerary.

2. Customize Font and Text Appearance

In the styling panel:

  • Font: Choose the typeface used for itinerary text

  • Font color: Pick a hex color or use the color picker. Ensure good contrast against the background

  • Weight: Set how bold the itinerary text appears

  • Size: Adjust the font size to suit your layout and hierarchy

  • Align: Choose text alignment within the block (left, center, right)

Note: Text alignment applies only inside the block—it does not move the block within its section or container.

3. Adjust Typography

Fine-tune text layout with:

  • Letter spacing: Adjust the spacing between characters

  • Line height: Controls vertical spacing between lines

4. Layout and Border Styling

  • Horizontal & Vertical Padding: Adds internal space between the text and the block's edge

  • Border: Customize the thickness and color to distinguish the itinerary visually or match brand styling

Pro Tips

  • Use this block only in booking engine messages where itinerary details are known

  • Match text styling to other content blocks for consistency

  • Make sure the text is legible over any background or container color

  • Keep padding consistent across blocks for a polished layout

FAQs / Troubleshooting

Question: Why is the itinerary showing placeholder text or blank?

Answer: The Itinerary block only works on the booking engine with a valid guest search. It won’t populate in preview or on other site pages.

Q: How do I center this block in the message?

A: Adjust the alignment in the container or section—not the block itself.

Q: Can I change what information is shown in the itinerary?

A: No, the block automatically pulls from the guest's search. The format is fixed for consistency and clarity.
