  1. Open the Triptease Message Builder

    • Go to the Message Builder in your Triptease dashboard.

    • Choose a message type (e.g., Nudge Message).

  2. Set Behavior Rules

    • Define which pages the message appears on.

    • Choose when it appears and how long it stays visible.

  3. Select Your Target Audience

    • Use Smart Targeting to let Triptease choose based on booking likelihood.

    • Use Custom Targeting for full control:

      • Visitor profile: country, device, referrer

      • Booking engine data: check-in date, lead time, party size

  4. Design Your Message

    • Add copy, branding, and a strong CTA.

    • Use translations if your site has multilingual pages.

    • Optionally upload a custom image or design.

  • Use variant testing to experiment and refine.

FAQs / Troubleshooting

Why isn’t my message showing?
Ensure the message language matches your site’s variant and the targeting isn’t too narrow.

What’s the difference between Smart and Custom targeting?
Smart Targeting auto-detects likelihood to book; Custom lets you define segments manually.
