  • You can keep running your old Classic messages at the same time as more exciting designs made in New Messages.

When to Use It

Use this article to understand the key differences between the previous version of our messaging platform and New Triptease Messages.

What's New

The new Triptease Messages product was built to address common hotelier pain points when it comes to website personalization:

1. Greater Design Flexibility

Classic Messages limited hoteliers to fixed message types (e.g. nudge, full screen, price check), each with rigid design options. New Triptease Messages removes those constraints, providing far more creative control:

  • Modular Drag & Drop Builder: Build messages with a combination of Containers, Sections, and Blocks

  • Custom Styling: Control fonts, spacing, padding, background color, alignment, button shape and more

  • Image & Media Support: Add brand imagery, GIFs, and even video (coming soon)

2. Templates for Every Use Case

The new Triptease Messages product offers a growing library of customizable templates:

  • Price Check

  • Direct Booking Perks

  • Seasonal Offers

  • Upsells (F&B, Spa, Experiences)

  • Flash Sales

Templates are fully editable. You can rearrange or remove elements, and completely rebrand the look and feel.

3. Multi-Message Campaigns

All the messages you create in new Messages exist inside a campaign to help you reflect the way you want to manage your marketing and create specific on-site journeys.

You can have as many campaign as you wish - whether that's one containing all your different messages, or multiple versions containing messages that map to specific marketing initiatives and goals (like a seasonal sales, or country-specific offers).

Campaigns allow you to:

  • Group multiple messages together (e.g. Summer Sale).

  • Keep consistent styling and settings, while customizing targeting for each message.

  • Build sets of connected messages designed to influence specific users as they journey through different pages on your website.

  • See the accumulated impact of all related messages at a campaign level.

4. Desktop & Mobile Variants

Each message can now have a specific design for desktop and mobile, allowing you to create a guest experiences tailored to the way they browse on different devices.

You can even publish messages on just one device type, for example to promote mobile-specific offers.

5. Better Reporting

New Messages is part of the Triptease Campaign Manager, which comes with an all-new Reporting Dashboard.

The new cross-channel reporting is designed to offer more insight than reporting for Classic Messages, including campaign, channel and hotel views, and multi-campaign attribution.

Pro Tips

  • Always start with a template to save time (you can customize later)

  • Save frequently when building!

  • Use sections to visually structure your message and experiment with layout

  • Adjust mobile and desktop separately to perfect the look on both
