TL;DR
Targeting ensures the right message reaches the right guest at the right time.
You can target based on guest profile, behavior, journey stage, and more.
Set targeting rules per message within a campaign.
When to Use It
Use targeting when you want to:
Personalize content for specific audiences (e.g. return visitors, mobile users)
Control when and where a message appears
Align your messaging with the guest's booking journey
How It Works
Targeting is configured per message and determines who sees it, when, and under what conditions.
You can layer multiple conditions to refine your audience. Types of targeting include:
Device Targeting
Device targeting determines which device a message will appear on.
How it works
In the Creative Builder, a desktop variant is created automatically.
Click + Add mobile variant to create a version tailored for mobile devices.
When you add a mobile variant, the system automatically shows it to guests on mobile—no extra targeting rules needed.
Default behavior
If you don’t add a mobile variant, the desktop version displays on all devices.
To optimize the experience, always add a mobile variant.
Pro Tip
Use + Add mobile variant in the Creative Builder to design a dedicated mobile layout with simplified content and optimized styling.
