You certainly can! Just click on Account in the left hand menu, then Your profile (which is where you can add or edit the email address you'd like Triptease to contact you on) and then Notifications.

Here you can select which kinds of parity notification you'd like to receive from Triptease.

Parity report

The parity report is an email report that summarises recent parity statistics for you and highlights which properties in your group are reporting the highest undercut rate.

Under Parity report in the Product summaries section of this page, you can set the regularity with which you receive these reports (either daily or weekly) depending on how many notifications you want to receive.

Surge alert

You can also be notified of suspicious looking increases in your undercut rate by switching on Surge Alert emails.

Implementing surge alerts will allow you to quickly catch issues that cause a big spike in undercuts such as a misconfiguration in your channel manager (eg you've accidentally started pushing cheaper rates to a certain OTA) or if a certain OTA is caching old rates deliberately in order to appear cheaper than your hotel.

Under Disparity surge alert you can toggle whether you'd like to receive surge alerts at all and also what kind of threshold you want to be notified of any spike

  • Always - here we'll notify you any time we see any spike in undercut above normal levels

  • 2x higher - here we'll notify you if we see at least twice as many undercuts compared to normal across all of your hotels

  • 3x higher- here we'll notify you if we see at least three times as many undercuts compared to normal across all of your hotels

  • 4x higher- here we'll notify you if we see at least four times as many undercuts compared to normal across all of your hotels

The threshold allows you to tune the alert frequency to reduce noise in your inbox - if you feel like you're receiving too many surge alert emails, we recommend you increase the surge threshold to 3x or 4x so you're only notified of the more extreme surges in undercuts that arise from major parity issues.
