What is the “Experimental” feature badge?

Article explaining what the Experimental feature badge is, how it is used and what to expect.

Updated this week

The "Experimental" badge highlights new features in the Triptease platform that are in the active development stage. These features are currently in our innovation sandbox—where we rapidly prototype, test, and refine new ideas with input from early users like you.

Why am I seeing a feature with this badge?

You’re seeing the badge because you have access to a feature that is:

  • In early release and may still be evolving

  • Being actively tested and improved based on real user feedback

  • A candidate for future full release—if it delivers value and meets our standards

By identifying it as “Experimental,” we’re setting clear expectations: the feature may change, grow, or even be removed depending on what we learn.

What’s in it for me?

Early access to innovation—and a voice in shaping it. Here’s what you get:

  • 🚀 A first look at what’s coming next on the platform

  • 💬 The opportunity to influence how the feature evolves with your feedback

  • 👀 Transparency: You’ll always know what’s experimental

  • 📣 Direct communication with our Product team about what’s working and what isn’t

Do I need to do anything to access “Experimental” features?

It’s not currently possible to opt-in to Experimental features, however if you’re especially interested in being more involved in Triptease’s development of new products, please reach out to customersuccess@triptease.com. You can also request to opt out of a feature via this email.

Will the feature work like everything else?

While fully functional, Experimental features may have:

  • Some missing capabilities

  • Changes in layout, behaviour, or performance over time

  • Evolving documentation or support materials

We aim to provide a smooth experience, but we ask for your understanding and feedback as we test and improve.

How can I give feedback?

We’re actively looking for your thoughts—good, bad, or in between.

Will these features always stay marked as “Experimental”?

No—features that prove valuable and stable will go into general availability. Until then, the badge helps us (and you) keep track of which parts of the platform are still in a learning phase.

Why is Triptease doing this?

Experimental Features allows us to:

  • Ship faster and learn quicker

  • Ensure transparency with you, our customers

It’s all about building better products, together.
