How do I filter out small disparities?

How to filter out small (low-value) price disparities in Triptease Parity Monitoring.

Updated yesterday

Overview

Not all undercuts are worth investigating โ€” very small disparities (e.g. a few cents or pence) may not justify the effort. Triptease Parity Monitoring lets you filter out small disparities so you can focus on the undercuts that actually affect guest behaviour and booking decisions.

How to filter

  1. Open the Parity Manager (Market Insights > Parity monitoring) in the Triptease platform.

  2. Look for the minimum disparity filter (often in the filter toolbar).

  3. Set a threshold (e.g. only show undercuts greater than 2%).

  4. The view updates to hide all disparities below your threshold.

Common questions

Q: What threshold should I use?

A: It depends on your rate level. For most hotels, filtering out disparities below 2โ€“3% removes noise without hiding meaningful undercuts.
