Updating Your Pricing Configuration in Triptease

Learn how to set your pricing configuration accurately on the Triptease platform if you make any changes to your pricing structure.

Updated this week

Overview

US Pricing Law Update
A recent US ruling requires resort fees to be included in prices displayed to guests throughout their booking journey. You can read more about the ruling and its implications for hotels here.

In this wake of this, it’s crucial that Triptease understands how your hotel displays rates so we can show accurate prices to guests and stay compliant with new regulations. With that in mind, we’ve replaced the previous Tax Calculation page in the Triptease platform with a new Price Configuration page. This gives us a much more complete view of your pricing display setup.

You can update this yourself in the platform, or contact your CSM or the Triptease team for help. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Because each hotel is different, you should update us whenever you change your pricing structure.

What This Means for You

  • If you’ve already told Triptease about recent pricing changes, your setup should be correct.

  • If you haven’t made any changes, your configuration is likely accurate.

  • If you have made changes but haven’t told us, you may need to update your settings.

Tip: Go to the new Property Price Configuration page to confirm your setup matches your website’s current pricing display.
