Should I inform Triptease if I am switching/upgrading my booking engine?

Updated today

The booking and revenue data displayed in the Triptease Platform is captured by our tracking scripts that will have been added to your booking engine during integration setup.

To ensure that we can continue to track your hotel's performance, and so that our tools can launch on your booking engine, we ask that you inform us in advance if you are planning to switch booking engine. Our technical team can then assist you with re-integration of our Triptease scripts to ensure minimal downtime on tracking.

Please do check with the Triptease team before upgrading so that we can confirm whether or not the new version of the booking engine is compatible with our scripts.

For clients who are using our metasearch service, the booking engine upgrade may come with a URL change, so we would also need to change the re-direct URL on metasearch to your new booking engine.

If you have any questions please reach out to your Direct Booking Coach or to us at customersuccess@triptease.com.

Information we need you to provide

Please inform us with:

1. New booking engine URL deeplink (it should include dates and room details in the link);

2. Name of your new booking engine provider;

3. Planned timeline for migration (e.g., ASAP, specific date, phased launch);

4. Technical contact person (Name + email of the person managing the integration on your side);

5. Has the Triptease script already been added to the new booking engine?(Yes/No/Not sure);

Once we have this information, we’ll begin the technical checks and coordinate internally to ensure everything is updated correctly.

What happens next on our side

After receiving your details, we will:

• Verify compatibility between Triptease and your new booking engine;

• Confirm and update integrations for any live Triptease products (e.g., Metasearch, Retargeting, Messages, Price Match, Paid Search);

• Coordinate with our Technical Support and Product Implementation teams to update links, ensure tracking continues correctly, and provide any integration instructions if needed;

• Review whether any content (like message deeplinks) needs adjustment to match your new booking flow.
