With our BOCO model, Triptease controls the ad spend. We take on the financial risk of driving performance and only charge after guests have checked out. Because we carry that risk and fund the marketing upfront, the overall cost of PPX is typically higher for the hotel.
In contrast, with our Licensing model, the hotel sets and funds the ad spend budget directly. Triptease simply manages the campaigns on your behalf. Since the ad spend is the hotel's cost (not ours), we ask for a refundable deposit to ensure we can maintain smooth campaign delivery without being out of pocket for ad spend incurred during the month.
You can think of the deposit as being similar to paying one month’s ad spend in advance. It stays in place for the duration of the contract and is fully credited back at the end.
If, at any time, you wish to reduce your ad spend, you can do so—though this may naturally reduces the visibility and returns the campaigns generate.
