What is Campaign Reporting?
Campaign Reporting is Triptease's unified reporting experience, now accessible directly from the main navigation under Reporting. It gives you a single view of performance across all your Triptease channels — Messages, Metasearch, Display Retargeting, and Paid Search — with multiple attribution models so you can understand what's actually driving results.
Why does this matter?
Until now, understanding your full Triptease performance meant visiting multiple reporting pages. Campaign Reporting brings everything together in one place — regardless of how you pay — making it faster and easier to assess what's working and where to focus, without having to reconcile numbers from different sources.
How does it work?
You'll find Reporting in the primary navigation bar at the top of the platform. From there you can:
View performance across all core Triptease channels in a single view
Filter Hotels, Channels and Campaigns to see the data you want
Switch between attribution models to compare different ways of measuring performance, more information on attribution models here
Group performance by Channel, Hotel, Campaign, Day, Message
Access additional reporting for: Paid Search keyword and search term; Messages v1; Email; and Price Match via the links at the bottom of the page
What are the key reporting features?
Multiple attribution models
Consolidated reporting no matter how you pay
Spend and Efficiency metrics — a dedicated view of ad spend, CPC, and ROAS for paid channels on License billing
Simple export to CSV so you can take your data to the tools you need
What channels are included?
Metasearch performance (includes Free links, Paid links and Travel Promotion Ads (TPAs) and Tripadvisor Sponsored Placements (TASPs))
Retargeting performance
Paid Search performance
Messages performance (both Messages v1 and Messages v2)
Links to additional channel-specific reporting at the bottom of the page
What metrics are included?
Note: This reporting view is designed for cross-channel campaigns. Not all metrics will apply to every channel. For example, spend-related metrics (Ad spend, CPC, ROAS) are only shown for campaigns involving media spend, and will not appear for Messages campaigns.
You’ll see these key metrics for each campaign:
Impressions – How many times a campaign was displayed
Clicks – Number of clicks on messages or ads
Click-through rate (CTR) – Clicks ÷ Impressions
Bookings – Number of confirmed bookings attributed to the campaign
Conversion rate (CVR) – Bookings ÷ Clicks
Booking value – Revenue generated from attributed bookings
Ad spend – Total spend for the campaign (only applicable to paid channels on License billing)
Cost per click (CPC) – Ad spend ÷ Clicks (only applicable to paid channels on License billing)
Return on ad spend (ROAS) – Booking value ÷ Ad spend (only applicable to paid channels on License billing)
Things to look out for
Metasearch click counts: Campaign Reporting currently includes both free and paid metasearch clicks. If you previously used the single-channel Metasearch reporting page, you may notice higher click numbers — this is expected and reflects a more representative picture of your metasearch activity.
Spend & Efficiency tab: This view only shows data for license channels incurring ad spend. Messages campaigns and channels on a commission model will not appear here — use the Performance tab to see those.
How do I see performance for different Metasearch types?
Filter the page to Metasearch, then set the
Group byfield toCampaignin thePerformance breakdownsection
How do I replicate the view I used to get in single-channel reporting pages?
Choose the Single Channel attribution model and filter by the relevant channel
How do I see performance for individual Messages Campaigns
Filter the page to Messages, then set the
Group byfield toCampaignorMessagein thePerformance breakdownsection
Why have single-channel reporting pages for Metasearch and Retargeting been removed?
We've consolidated reporting into Campaign Reporting so you can see the full picture across all your channels in one place, rather than navigating between separate pages. Everything that was available on those pages — and more — is now available here. If you want to replicate the view you were used to, choose the Single Channel attribution model and filter by the relevant channel.
What's coming next?
We're continuing to invest in Performance Reporting. Coming soon: impression share data, budget and spend pace information, and a breakdown of free vs paid link performance for Metasearch.
How do I get access?
Campaign Reporting is available to all Triptease customers now. You'll find it in the main navigation under Reporting.
