How to add the Triptease script to your Siteminder account

How to enable the Triptease integration on your Siteminder booking engine using the Plug-in apps configuration.

Overview

Siteminder exposes Triptease as a pre-built Plug-in app. You do not paste a script β€” you enable the Triptease plug-in in Siteminder and enter the Client key and Hotel key provided by Triptease Customer Support.


How to enable the integration

  1. Email customersupport@triptease.com to request your Client key and Hotel key.

  2. Log in to your Siteminder account.

  3. Go to Direct booking β†’ Configuration β†’ Plug-in apps.

  4. Find the Triptease plug-in and click on it.

  5. Enter the Client key and Hotel key provided by Customer Support.

  6. Click Enable.

  7. Email customersupport@triptease.com to confirm the plug-in is live.


Common questions

Q: Where do I find my Client key and Hotel key?

A: They are not visible in the Triptease platform. Email customersupport@triptease.com or reach out via the in-platform chat and the Customer Support team will send them to you.

Q: Do I also need to add the Triptease script to my hotel website?

A: Yes. The Siteminder plug-in only covers your booking engine. For your main hotel website, you still need to install the Triptease web script separately β€” see What Is a Web Script?.
